The aims of the Awards are:

• To raise the creative profile of Milton Keynes and the talent within it
• To encourage local businesses and organisations to recognise and use local creative talent
• To recognise the creative individuals and organisations who are often not eligible for other business awards
• To celebrate the diversity and variety of local talent

There are eleven awards, nine submission-based, one Overall Winner and an award to be made by Business MK for best advertisement in their monthly magazine.
